Staff is seeking City Council authorization for the City Manager to enter into a Purchase & Sale Agreement with Kevin Spencer for the sale of City-owned real property known as Lot 1, within the Juniper Ridge Employment Subdistrict Phase 1 (the “Property”). The agreement would sell Kevin Spencer approximately 2.72 acres of real property located at the southwest corner of the Juniper Ridge Overlay Zone, along the southern frontage of NE Cooley Road. Per the terms of the agreement, the City will have one hundred twenty (120) days after the effective date of the agreement to complete a right of way vacation of the former Cooley Road right-of-way. The “former Cooley Road” right-of-way is the portion of right-of-way located along the southern boundary of Juniper Ridge, between Lots 1 & 2 of the Juniper Ridge Employment Subdistrict Phase 1 and Sky View Middle School. As part of the right-ofway vacation, Lots 1 and 2 will provide reciprocal access easements in place of former Cooley Road to provide access to Lots 1 and 2 from NE 18th Street and NE Cooley Road.
