The Latino Association has two open positions to fill immediately with two qualified, motivated, passionate people who have experience with the Oregon Health Plan.
Thanks to a law passed in 2020 by the Oregon Legislature, eligible immigrant adults who were previously excluded from receiving Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits solely because of their immigration status will now be able to access free healthcare services covered by OHP. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding, only those people between the ages of 19-25 and 55 and older will be eligible for now, however, there is a very good chance this will extend to ALL Oregonians soon.
If you believe you have the talent to help people enroll in OHP and help them understand how to access services and not be reluctant to do so, please send us your application as soon as possible. For more information, see the job description below or visit our website to download it. Applications will be accepted until we find the right people. Application instructions are included in the position description.
We look forward to hearing from you soon and please help spread the word.
