A virtual public hearing on the proposal to upgrade Hunnel to a major collector road is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 5,2020 with the Bend City Council. Hunnell Road would then be an access for Hwy 20 to the proposed Gateway North Shopping Center. The long talked about center would include a Fred Meyer store and a Costco as well as other reail and possible housing.
