The Land Conservation and Development Commission will host a series of meetings on proposals to move Oregon to its goals to reduce climate pollution. The Bend virtual meeting is Oct. 26 at Noon. Registration is required. (register here)
Executive Order 20-04 directs 13 state agencies to develop rulemaking that will lead metropolitan areas such as Bend to achieve the goals adopted to reduce greenhouse gases and provide adequate housing with access to employment, education and culturally appropriate food, goods, services and social spaces.
This is extensive rulemaking that will affect many aspects of daily life.
