If you feel traffic on residential streets is too fast and too dangerous, the Slow Down, It's Our Town safety campaign may be of interest to you. Mountain View Neighborhood Association is spearheading the effort to change the speed at which Bend drivers traverse city streets.
They are presenting plans for the campaign on December 12, 6 p.m. at the Northeast Fire Station on Jamison Road. Any BANA resident is welcome to attend and learn how we can all change the way we drive.
